Background
I earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Binghamton University, a program which is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). I have more than 30 years of experience as a licensed Psychologist, (in addition to two years of supervised practice at the post-doctoral level, a one year, full-time APA accredited internship in Clinical Psychology at Austin State Hospital, and four years of supervised practice as a Clinical Psychology graduate student). I have an undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Studies, and extensive experience working with children and families. While I no longer provide therapy for children and teens, my child development and family studies background continues to support and inform me. I am also also trained and experienced in psychological and neuropsychological testing. While testing is no longer a major part of my practice, my experience with testing also continues to be useful, and I refer for psychological testing when it seems likely to provide important information.
